Account & Settings
Everything you manage under My Account: your profile, sign-in security, and display preferences.
Where to find it
Open My Account from the sidebar. Click Edit to make changes, then Save.
Your profile
| Field | Notes |

| First / last name | Editable. |
| Profile picture | Click the avatar circle to upload an image; it is resized automatically. |
| Date of birth | Editable; you must be 18 or older. |
| Aviation Profile | Your role (Avgeek, Drone Pilot, Student Pilot, PPL/LAPL, CPL/ATPL, ATC Trainee, Air Traffic Controller). Changing it is limited on some plans — see Your Profile / Role. |
| Email address | Changing it sends a confirmation link to the new address. |
| Marketing updates | Opt in or out of product update emails. |
Sign-in & security
- Password — change it in My Account (minimum 8 characters).
- Passkey — create a passkey with Create Passkey to sign in with your device's biometrics or security key instead of a password. You can then choose Passkey on the login screen. See Getting Started.
Display preferences
- Language — English or German.
- Theme — Light or Dark (dark is the default).

- Subscription & queries — your plan, remaining Avlex queries, payment method, and the link to manage or cancel your plan. See Payment & Billing.
- Rewards (Miles+) — your balance, referral link, and licence upload. See Rewards.
If your school opened the app for you in read-only mode, changes are temporarily blocked and the session ends automatically after a short time.
