Aviation Role
Your Aviation Profile determines which content and training modules are unlocked for you. There are seven roles:

| Student Pilot | Students in flight training. |
| Private Pilot (PPL / LAPL) | Holders of private licences. |
| Commercial Pilot (CPL / ATPL) | Holders of commercial licences. |
| ATC Trainee | ATC students in training. |
| Air Traffic Controller | Active air traffic controllers. |
Training modules are grouped into four Packages (Individual Pilot, Drone, ATC and Avgeek — 25 modules in total): in the Free plan you have the Individual Avgeek package (1 module), in the Academic plan one Package of your choice (Pilot, Drone, ATC or Avgeek) and only that package's modules, and in the Professional plan all 25 modules.
Role can only be changed once: In the Free and Academic plans (regardless of whether Monthly, 1 Year, or 2 Years) you can adjust your profile exactly once. A confirmation prompt appears the first time you save a profile change; after that, a further change is only possible with a Professional subscription. If you try again, the message reads: "Profile change already used. Upgrade to Professional to make further changes." Professional and Enterprise users can change their profile without restriction. (For Enterprise, the role is fixed as "Enterprise".)
