Avlex Queries & Quota

Every answered Ask Avlex question counts as one query. Your plan determines your quota (see Plans Overview). You can see your remaining balance at any time at the bottom of the sidebar ("Avlex queries remaining"). In "My Account" you will also find Used, Remaining, and Total queries.

Topping up your quota — Add-on Packages

Once your quota is reached, you can buy an Add-on Package or upgrade your plan:

Add-on Packages are purchased directly in My Account — one-time, with no subscription commitment. The queries are credited to your account immediately.

How the quota changes over time

• Each new billing period your paid-plan allowance is restored to the full amount for your plan (for example 150 again on Professional Monthly).
• Add-on packages stack on top of your current balance — the extra queries are added immediately and are not tied to the billing cycle.
• Switching to another paid plan resets your balance to the new plan's full allowance.
• Cancelling drops you to the Free plan at the end of the paid period; only a small Free-tier balance remains. See Payment & Billing.
